Itinerary:

Day #1 Orlando. Arrive in Orlando and pick up your car at the airport. You can start exploring one of the area’s many theme parks or just relax by your hotel’s pool.
Day #2 Orlando. A full day to explore Orlando and the surrounding area. Visit some of the well-known attractions, like Disney World®, Universal Studios®, Epcot®, and SeaWorld®. You may also want to drive to Kennedy Space Center and spend the day like an astronaut.
Day #3 Orlando–Miami Beach. Depart Orlando this morning and travel south along the Atlantic Coast. You may wish to stop and explore some of Florida’s most famous beach resorts, such as Palm Beach and Boca Raton, before arriving in vibrant Miami Beach for a 2-night stay. Approximately 235 miles/378 km.
Day #4 Miami Beach. Enjoy a full day at leisure. Relax on a sightseeing cruise or take a walking tour of the Art Deco Historic District. Called SoBe by locals, Miami’s South Beach is known for its hundreds of restaurants, nightclubs, and beautiful beaches. For those wanting a little more activity, try snorkeling, jet skiing, or scuba diving.
Day #5 Miami Beach–Key West. Continue south and journey on the famous Overseas Highway, a modern wonder that stretches from Miami to Key West, the southernmost city in the continental U.S. Along this 113-mile stretch of roadway, you’ll cross 42 bridges and enjoy ever-changing scenery and beautiful turquoise water. This evening, why not enjoy a tropical drink while admiring the views on a sunset cruise? Approximately 170 miles/273km.
Day #6 Key West. Explore all that Key West has to offer. Enjoy a seaplane tour, play a round of golf, jump aboard a trolley, take a haunted walking tour in the Historic District, visit the Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum, or shop the unique boutiques on Duval Street.
Day #7 Key West–Fort Myers. Leave the Florida Keys and return to the mainland. You may want to explore the 1.5 million acres that make up Everglades National Park. Be sure to keep an eye out for the park’s wildlife, including alligators, sea turtles, manatees, great blue herons, brown pelicans, and the Florida panthers. Approximately 279 miles/449 km
Day #8 Fort Myers–St. Pete Beach. Today, drive north along Florida’s western coast to St. Pete Beach, home of pristine white-sand beaches, clear gulf waters, and warm sunshine. Stroll the beach this evening or watch the sunset on a dinner cruise. Approximately 113 miles/181 km.
Day #9 St. Pete Beach. During your time here, you may want to take a dolphin cruise, explore the 50 miles of The Pinellas Trail, learn to sail, or visit nearby Fort De Soto Park with its fishing piers, nature trails, and seven miles of beautiful beaches. Other activities include the Salvador Dali Museum, shopping for souvenirs, the Florida Aquarium, or an entertaining cruise aboard a pirate ship.
Day #10 St. Pete Beach–Orlando. Return to Orlando and drop off your rental car prior to departure. Approximately 105 miles/168 km.
