Day #2 London. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation takes you past the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben beside the River Thames, Westminster Abbey, Whitehall’s mounted horseguards, the Prime Minister’s Downing Street, and Piccadilly Circus. Visit ST. PAUL’S CATHEDRAL and see the Changing of the Guard (if held) at Buckingham Palace.
Day #3 London. Full day at leisure.
Day #4 London–Paris, France. Morning transfer to the HIGH-SPEED EUROSTAR TRAIN; mid-afternoon arrival in Paris.
Day #5 Paris. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation takes you to famous Parisian landmarks: see the impressive Place de la Concorde, Napoléon’s Les Invalides, the Opéra, and the Seine River with its magnificent bridges; admire the rose windows and other splendors in NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL. Pass the Latin Quarter and Arc de Triomphe. Drive along the Champs-Elysées, one of the world’s most fashionable avenues. Take photos of the Eiffel Tower from one of the best panoramic viewing points.
Day #6 Paris. Full day to explore the magnificent “City of Light.”
Day #7 Paris–Geneva, Switzerland. Travel by HIGH-SPEED TGV TRAIN (first-class) to Geneva.
Day #8 Geneva. On your morning guided sightseeing and orientation, see Geneva’s international sector with some of the world’s major peacemaking organizations; admire the amazing Water Fountain and Flower Clock. Visit ST. PETER’S CATHEDRAL in the Old Town, best known for John Calvin’s inspiring sermons during the mid-16th century.
