Day #2 Paris. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation takes you to famous Parisian landmarks: see the Latin Quarter, Napoléon’s Les Invalides, the Opéra, Place de la Concorde, Arc de Triomphe, which honors those who fought for France, and drive along the Champs-Elysées. Admire the rose windows and other splendors in NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL. Take photos of the Eiffel Tower from one of the best panoramic viewing points.
Day #3 Paris. Full day at leisure to enjoy this romantic city.
Day #4 Paris–Geneva, Switzerland. Travel to Geneva by HIGH-SPEED TGV TRAIN (first-class).
Day #5 Geneva. On your morning guided sightseeing and orientation, see Geneva’s international sector with some of the world’s major peacemaking organizations; admire the amazing Water Fountain and Flower Clock. Visit ST. PETER’S CATHEDRAL in the Old Town, best known for John Calvin’s inspiring sermons during the mid-16th century.
Day #6 Geneva. Full day at leisure.
Day #7 Geneva–Lucerne. Travel to Lucerne by TRAIN (first-class).
Day #8 Lucerne. Morning guided sightseeing and orientation: admire Thorwaldsen’s LION MONUMENT and ornate patrician houses of the walled Old Town, then cross the famous 14th-century, wood-covered CHAPEL BRIDGE to the Jesuit church.
