Accommodations: The guest rooms and suites share the same colonial-plantation style as the exterior of the 4-story building they are housed within, with tile floors, dark hardwood furnishings, and arched glass-doors that lead onto private balconies that offer views of the ocean, gardens, or mountains. TIP: Rooms 406-412 and 454-462 offer the best views of the mountain. Beds are king or double-sized, with Marriott’s signature designer comforters, cotton-rich linens, and fluffy pillows. Amenities include air-conditioning, satellite TV, phone, high-speed internet, in-room safe, min-bar, coffee maker, hairdryer, and iron/ironing board.
Dining & Entertainment: Arrecife is a poolside bar and grill, with a full menu and swim-up service. Hoyo 19 is located on the fountain patio and boasts spectacular views of the golf course and forest, an extensive menu, and full bar service. Both are open for lunch. Open for all meals, La Vista serves local and international specialties. La Casa del Café is a coffee house where you can enjoy pastries, light fare, and over 30 blends of Costa Rican coffee. Nuevo Latino is a dinner-only restaurant serving innovative American cuisine prepared with local ingredients. Puesta del Sol is a pub with a 49” plasma-screen TV and stunning views of the Pacific.
