The restaurant is a tried and true local fixture, and its waitstaff is extremely polite. The menu in the main grill favors fresh seafood and seasonal produce, and Sunday brunches and daily buffets deserve their popularity. A secondary grill dishes up casual fare on the pool terrace where a small pool, party-size whirlpool, and wading pool are surrounded by lawns, flowering plants, palms, and umbrellas for plenty of shade.
The rooftop fitness center has a full-time staff, good equipment, massage services, and fantastic views. Three lighted, waterfront tennis courts, lawn games, a wide beach, and sailing ensure fun, and a counselor keeps children occupied. Shops and a 24-hour delicatessen are in the miniature arcade, and there is meeting space for up to 1,000 people.
Green and white striped hallways lead to recently remodeled guest rooms. All have green pile carpeting, bleached woods, rattan armchairs and ottomans, new lamps, TVs, coffeemakers, safes, mirrored closets opposite black marble vanities, baths with hair dryers, and well-furnished balconies with views of the gulf, bay, and Clearwater Beach's low-rise neon skyline.
