Accommodations: Guest rooms and suites are available in 4 categories, each featuring a balcony or ground-floor terrace. TIP: Foregoing the practice of "on arrival only" room selection, you can reserve a room with ocean views at this hotel; ask your travel consultant to check availability as soon as you decide to travel. Amenities include air-conditioning, satellite TV, phone, in-room safe, mini-bar, liquor dispenser, and hairdryer. Suites and junior suites are more spacious, with integrated living areas, and feature upgraded amenities including hydro-massage bathtubs, robes, and iron/ironing boards. Select suites feature Jacuzzis and interconnecting rooms are available. TIP: The higher the room number, the closer the room is to the beach.
Dining & Entertainment: For buffet-style meals with cook-to-order stations, dine at Don Rafael, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sir George serves gourmet cuisine. Nirvana specializes in pan-Asian. Flamingo is a steakhouse and beachside restaurant serving grilled specialties. All 3 serve a la carte evening meals, and all require reservations and enforce a dress code. Drinks are served at 5 bars, including a sports bar and a lounge, and snacks and beverages are available 24 hours a day. The theater hosts nightly live shows, and the Pacha nightclub is open6 days a week.
Recreation: There are 2 swimming pools, 1 for families, and 1 for adults, both set near the beach. The adults' pool has an adjoining Jacuzzi and a swim-up bar, with in-water loungers and built-in tables and chairs that put a whole new spin on cocktail hour. More loungers are available on the beach and on the sun terrace. Water sports include windsurfing, snorkeling, and sailing; you can get a workout at the gym, join a game of volleyball, and unwind in the sauna; then get pampered with treatments and massages at the Renova Spa. A playground and mini-club entertain the little ones while the grown-ups head off on excursions like party cruises, horseback riding, and bicycling.
